Haw-cover

Dear friends of Paradise,

We are thrilled to announce that we are now accepting pre-orders for Haw, by Hiss Golden Messenger (PoB-06), the much-anticipated full-length, full-band follow-up to the critically acclaimed Poor Moon (PoB-02.) These eleven exquisite songs about faith, family, and an ill-prophesied future represent HGM’s most ambitious and urgent work yet, conjuring dark, half-remembered dreams.

To purchase the album, select your preferred format(s) below: LP ($18), CD ($12), or both ($25). The vinyl LP is available in a limited edition, featuring matte tip-on jackets, a full-color inner sleeve, and a digital download coupon; the CD is housed in a heavy, 24 pt matte gatefold wallet.

Pre-orders will begin shipping ten days in advance of the April 2 release date. Enter the coupon code “Haw” (without quotes) during checkout to receive a $2 discount on any purchase of Haw plus one or more additional PoB items from our Shop. *Please note that the discount will only be applied and calculated after you enter your shipping region during checkout. (If you need help deciding on an additional record, you might consider Lord I Love the Rain, HGM’s recent LP collection of alternate versions and previously unreleased songs, which is otherwise sold out in the U.S. and now available only from our website, for a discounted price of $19. Click here for more on that album, or to purchase it.)

All Haw pre-orders include a link for an immediate 320k MP3 download of the track “Sufferer (Love My Conqueror.)” The album will be available for digital-only purchase from this website and from major digital outlets on April 2. (If you’re interested in a digital-only pre-order, please visit our Bandcamp page.)

Customers who pre-order by March 22 will also be automatically entered into a drawing for a free (and rare) copy of Hiss Golden Messenger’s self-released Bad Debt LP (2010), Root Work LP (2010), or Country Hai East Cotton CD (2009). Supplies are extremely limited–only 20 folks will receive one of the above giveaways–and while we can’t make any promises regarding availability of any particular title, we’ll be in touch if you get lucky and your name is selected.
